Step 1: Take the kit out of the box

Another mini for the saloon. I found these collecting dust in my old shadow box that I had as a kid.

A shot of the doors and windows that came with the kit. I've already decided to get new windows though - I'd rather have ones that will actually open and close. It's got to be hot in the wild west, right?

The beginning of the construction process and you can see what a mess it already is.

Another view of the second floor and side walls - and believe it or not it's all level! My first oops - you can se one of the nails just barely coming through the wood. I'll be able to cover this up later when I put in flooring.
